A little "craft beer & cocktail" bar in a corner shop conversion and at least they have made some effort to design the decor, rather than the usual spartan industrial stuff, although I don't much like the recycled-cupboard bar front. The main seating room, which is up a couple of steps, is not bad as a convivial area. Although small, it is not really a micro pub by most definitions and is sadly not great on the "craft" bit either, with two Camdens, Neck Oil and Hopical Storm on the wall taps along with that well known craft ale Cruzcampo (and a couple of Appleshed ciders). Two bar fonts offer Forged Irish Stout, and Grand Central IPA from Hydes, but prices are quite reasonable however - well, this is Stoke. A little bit of imagination with the beers and this wouldn't be an unpleasant place for a session.
